LUCY MARKOVICH
CEO
A creative industries leader, producer and post-production producer with over 30 years experience internationally, Lucy is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of Elysium Studios. She has held leadership roles across a variety of industries combining creative and business acumen to drive growth and innovation.
As Content Director at Screen Queensland Lucy focused on supporting local practitioners and projects including Ivan Sen’s award winning feature film Limbo, Ludo Studio’s Bluey, Muster Dogs, In Our Blood and Troppo.
Prior to that Lucy was executive producer at Chop Shop Post, Collider, Luminous Pictures, and Babyfoot Productions, working across projects including award-winning children’s program Bluey for Ludo Studio, multiple projects for Wildbear Entertainment, feature films and series for Universal Pictures, Fox, Altitude, Paramount, Channel 10, Disney, ABC, BBC, Discovery, and Mediawan among others. She has worked across global commercial campaigns including several Gold Lion winners, branded content and music videos including four ARIA winners.
Working to build a bold network of high-performing businesses, talent and ideas across the creative industry of the future, Lucy has a great appreciation for the way in which cultural diversity has shaped our global community and is passionate about stories of diversity and inclusion on all levels.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and IT), a Bachelor of Business in Marketing, a certificate in Journalism for Social Change from UC Berkley, and a
Diploma in Fashion and Costume Design.
PETER DIVERS
CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER AND HEAD OF VFX
Peter’s passion is fusing art and technology. He is a highly sought after animation, CGI, VFX, XR and virtual production expert.
Among his various roles Peter was the virtual production lead at The Third Floor in the UK on projects such as Game of Thrones, Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle, Wonder Woman, and Alien: Covenant working closely with director Ridley Scott; motion editor at Weta Digital where he developed a virtual camera system for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Peter developed the Alchemy pipeline as a research project at Deakin Motion Lab, transitioning to Head of Innovation at Fika Entertainment where he delivered projects such as Teletubbies Let's Go!, Mattel's American Girl animated series, AR for Hasbro’s My Little Pony, and VR training for Dementia Australia.
With over 20 years experience across Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA Peter has worked on numerous projects, developing proprietary software to streamline the motion capture process for animation, VFX, XR and immersive and interactive events and virtual production.
He is responsible for the development of Elysium Studios' new proprietary workflows across all channels, developing original IP, and providing full post production services including VFX and animation.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Interactive Media, Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects, and a Masters in Animation Production Pipelines.
JOSEPH MELDRUM
PRODUCER & FIRST NATIONS LEAD
Joseph is a proud First Nations (Ghungalu) Producer who has worked across North America and Australia for the likes of Screen Australia, Screen Queensland, Discovery Channel, Netflix, HBO, and Lionsgate on titles that include Peacemaker, Midnight Mass, Joyride, and Gold Rush seasons 11 and 12.
Joseph specialises in financing through his time as a Development and Investment Manager at both Screen Australia and Screen Queensland, working on projects that include Total Control season 3, Black Snow, and Thou Shalt Not Steal.
Joseph’s directorial debut Maison screened in competition at the St Kilda Film Festival.
